My name is Douglas Hoyes, and I am the licensed trustee responsible for the Hoyes Michalos & Associates Inc. Brantford, Ontario personal bankruptcy office. This blog was created to deal with issues related to personal bankruptcy in Brantford, Ontario. There are other great blogs that discuss personal bankruptcy, and alternatives to personal bankruptcy. The largest one is the Personal Bankruptcy Canada Blog which features questions from people in financial difficulty across Canada, and answers from licensed trustees in bankruptcy.
Since bankruptcy is governed by federal law, most of the information on the other Canadian blogs is very helpful, but there are also some issues that are specific to Brantford, Ontario. For example, what you get to keep if you go bankrupt is different in each province, and other issues, such as the economy, are different in Brantford than they would be in other areas of the country.
